Subject: Social Roselea Competition
Just wanted to thank you and the organisers of the Competition on the weekend.
We are a group of purely social dancers who came from Canberra.
We enjoyed our trip enormously and will be returning if you have another one.
On a more personal note, my Father who is 89
and has Alzheimer’s danced with me in a number of events.
I am keeping him dancing as he lives it.
He doesn’t remember the steps so I call them out
and then his muscle memory kicks in and away he goes!
It makes him happy and becomes my Dad again when he’s dancing
and the light comes back in his eyes. So thank you.
He was 20 & 30 years older than his other competitors,
but he rocked it. We’ll be back.
Bye and thanks,
